From the Carvoeiro Boardwalk you can now get up close to the cliffside ersosion and see the strange patterns etched into the rock by the elements.

The Boardwalk is only a 15 minute walk from Casa Luessa and is an excellent route to stroll into the village whilst capturing the spectacular views of the coastline. This new access point to the cliffside is well worth taking a few minutes to visit. The scenery is somewhat ‘alien’ with strange shapes and patterns in the vibrant red hue of the sandstone.
